Role Accountabilities:
– Manage and optimize Windows and Linux-based systems to ensure stability, security, and peak performance.
– Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware, along with cloud infrastructure, to support scalable and efficient operations.
– Collaborate with the software development team to deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications for seamless functionality.
– Utilize Git for version control and implement CI/CD workflows using tools like Docker and Ansible to streamline deployment processes.
– Restore databases from backups and archive logs, perform troubleshooting, and ensure data integrity.
– Manage MS SQL Server and Oracle databases, implementing replication strategies for high availability and disaster recovery.
– Configure, maintain, and optimize web servers, including Apache and MS IIS, ensuring proper load balancing and SSL security configurations.
– Set up and maintain enterprise storage solutions to ensure data redundancy, availability, and reliability.
Qualifications that are required and preferred:
– The incumbent requires to have 4 years bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering
– Minimum 6 years of experience is required in relevant field.
Competencies and skills we are looking for:
– Expertise in managing, optimizing, and securing IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
– Strong hands-on experience in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Windows Server and Linux-based systems.
– Proficiency in deploying and managing virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud environments for scalable infrastructure.
– Experience in configuring, maintaining, and securing web servers such as Apache and MS IIS, including load balancing and SSL implementation.
– Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Docker, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
